Sorry to hear about the penguins - a really strange one that.

An interesting article about all the greats on their way out

A 'premium standing' ticket for a Stones gig priced at 400 GBP! Insane price for a washed-up band.

^^

1: i totally agree with the article.
2: the Stones have (IMO) been washed up since the mid 80s.

i saw them once and werent impressed with them as a live band.
they were very loose (almost amateurish), not professional or tight as youd expect from a long standing outfit,
and Jagger's vocals left a lot to be desired on stage.

Saw an interview with Genesis on the BBC. Phil Collins is in no condition to go on tour. He has had his day. Cannot play the drums anymore. Can barely stand up at times. They need to call it a day. Sad to see them go but they need to. The show is over.

as Kenny Rogers once sang: "know when to walk away, know when to run"...

seen a few fan clips on Youtube theyve recorded at Genesis gigs over the last week...

it is so sad to see Phil in a chair struggling to sing, he can barely hold tune (allbeit bad recordings)...
good job they have backing singers to improve things.

Captain Kirk (William Shatner) will actually make it to "the final frontier" next month as he is a guest/passenger on Jeff Bezo's space flight.

R+B artist R-Kelly has been found guilty of child sexual exploitation, sexual assault, sex trafficking etc etc...
the dude now awaits sentencing which could (and should) amount to decades in The Pen...

the article:  R. Kelly has been convicted and is facing decades behind bars. Here's a reminder of all the allegations against him. (msn.com)

i watched the bio-doc entitled "surviving R Kelly" when that came out on Netflix sometime ago...
there were some pretty harrowing and damning accusations in that by his alledged victims...

in fact it made the Michael Jackson 'surviving neverland' pale in comparrison.

anyway i checked out Wiki,
the dude released 18 studio albums and i cannot recall one solitary single by him,
either way, its no loss IMO.

here's hoping he gets what is comint to him and his victims can finally get some sort of closure fromt he guilty verdict.
