What Did You Buy? - SteveO - 26-11-2014 Excellent country artist Crazy1 I hope you like her! What Did You Buy? - LMD - 29-11-2014 Got word that the "Microsoft Music Deals" app (for Windows 8 and Xbox and phones or something) was giving away all of the Grateful Dead's studio albums, in one box set of MP3s, for $2. Went to check it out. The GD deal apparently lapsed, but there were still a couple $2 box sets and free albums for the rest of the weekend. For free I picked up; ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (Because for free, why not?) And for $2 each I picked up; ![]() ![]() If anyone else here is interested in some of these deals (MP3s only), you can find some more information at: http://www.pcworld.com/article/2852240/microsofts-giving-100-insanely-good-music-albums-away-for-free-selling-box-sets-for-2.html They seem to be scaling back a bit though. I think it started as 100 free albums, but now they're only offering 50. And some of the box sets are being pulled back to regular pricing, from what I've seen (the Grateful Dead one in particular). What Did You Buy? - CRAZY-HORSE - 29-11-2014 Nice buys/freebies mate.... Sorry but I only buy physical copies, not digital copies ao that info doesn't really interest me What Did You Buy? - Ruby - 02-12-2014 Vinyl spree! GRAHAM NASH - Songs for Beginners - been meaning to acquire this for a while, and there it was! CHRIS REA - Whatever Happened to Benny Santini? Ditto the above - ![]() RICHIE HAVENS - The Great Blind Degree - it's Richie Havens - self-explanatory. ![]() BILLY OSKAY AND MICHAEL O DOMHNAILL - nightnoise. Completely new to me - loved the excerpts I heard in the store and hoping to enjoy the rest of it ... great cover which is what did it in the first place!
What Did You Buy? - MichaelGagliardi - 10-12-2014 Good to know about how I will purchase the albums or download it in cheapest price. Music is a great thing which helps in keeping the mind out of depression and tension. I always download the albums from my favorite website of downloading the albums or songs. I buy only that songs which I didn't get on internet. What Did You Buy? - LMD - 18-12-2014 Finished the semester, so made the usual trip to the record store to celebrate. Picked up; ![]() ![]() ![]()

Haven't got my grades back yet. Felt pretty good about 2 finals, not so good about 2 other finals, and kinda-sorta confident about a paper for a 5th class. So, we'll see when the grades come in. Keeping the fingers crossed until then. Thanks for asking though. |
