Appropriate Adult.
ITV docu-drama about a trainee social worker whose first experience of the Responsible Adult program - a service in the UK where prisoners who may be vulnerable individuals can have an adult appointed to them to help them through the ordeal of questioning and trial - was to work with notorious UK serial killer Fred West.
He started to confide in her , revealing the extent of his crimes - and his wife Rose's - while maintining his innocence with the police. With her persuasion, West slowly revealed the information to the police. Twelve murder victims were eventually recovered, buried in Fred & Rose's house and garden in Gloucester, and in the surrounding countryside.
He also confessed to her that there were at least another 20 victims, including children, but committed suicide before revealing anything more concrete. Rose has never revealed any further details.
Harrowing.
Dominic West, of The Wire fame played West, and the brilliant actress Emily Watson played Janet Leach, the responsible adult.
Absolutely dazzling TV.

Dierks Bentley on Fallon as part of his Pink Floyd week special....
never heard of these guys, but did a brilliant cover of "wish you were here", dare i say it...almost as good as the Floyd version, complete with slide guitar for a country tinged feel..
also on the show was an interview with UK rock music photographer Nick Rock who shared some memories of attending University/College with Syd Barrett back in 1966.

do you not have capability on your recorder to set to record a series automatically?...we call it a "series link" which is a good idea because i would never remember to record half the stuff i do.
