38C/101F today with thunderstorms,
woke up at 2:30am, fantastic "sound and vision" display in the sky, lots of sheet and fork lightning happening
3:30am now, and the rain is here.

My area is under a tornado warning.

And the tornado warning is over. We received some hail here, but no damage. No wind damage happened either. A family friend called and said they got hail too, it looks like snow in their yard. She took pictures of the tornado which was forming near her house, and thankfully it didn't drop. So the situation got scary for a while there and the rotation wasn't far from my place. Some damage to roofs happened in the town next door.
The storm that prompted the warning is in Arkansas now.

Autumn officially started on March 1st...
not one day below 30C/86F so far with several days up around 37C/100F..
a few storms and very humid each day so far...
cant wait for the weather to break into a real Autumn pattern with temps around 26C/78F and cool breezes.

Didn't really want to see snow but it was a beautiful sight to behold. Big flurries.
Warmed up in the mid 40s by evening and most of the snow was gone but it was very pretty while it lasted
