Totally agree. On of the more polarizing figures in music. Changed his approach from MOR to serious Blues over the years. For some strange reason, AMG has basically stopped covering him but here's the discog anyway: http://www.allmusic.com/artist/chris-rea-mn0000096744/discography << needs to have a "Championing the Unheralded..." piece done--anybody want to step up and bring his best to the rest of us?

I picked up Afternoons in Utopia by Alphaville â vinyl. These guys had synth pop down to a very fine art â definitely a cut above â extremely slick.

lots of people dont like those expansive boxset releases but i think theyre a great idea for the "true" fans of any artist...
i have a few of the McCartney re-issue boxset, great reading,viewing,full of little tit-bits etc etc...
of the Macca ones i have McCartney,McCartneyII, Band On The Run and Ram...
looking foreward to "back to the egg","venus and mars" and "tug of war" being re-released in a boxset package.
