Bowie's "the next day" is pretty good Ruby...
when it came out and i posted it on MD i savaged it completely to the point of saying, best thing about it was the recycled cover art from his "heroes" album...
i kept going back to it online and eventually bought it...

Thatâs good to know! I need to give it a focused listen before passing a verdict, but I loved the single âWhere Are We Nowâ from the minute it was released. The rest of the album sounds nothing like it, from what I can tell. Really hope itâs going to grow on me!!
I find the cover/case conceptually interesting. To me, it creates a real sense of the frustration and indignity of censorship - thinking of the East Berlin references.

the other, i wasnt sure whether to save the money for later but after One republic's superb performance on Fallon the other night my mind was made up...
