I had a short haircut yesterday, having felt uncomfortably warm about the head on the one hot day we have had so far this spring. That more or less guarantees that it will be cool to cold for a week or so. A bit like washing your car to make it rain.

LOL, yes it always turns cool after I cut my hair also, similar thing, you get a toothache, go to the dentist and the ache as gone.
so you had your hair cut mate, im getting mine cut tonight, so I guess a storm will crop out out of the blue on Saturday now!

had some nice weather here or a couple of weeks now, 26C(78F) to 29C(84F),
but tomorrow were looking at our first really hot one for the season....37C(100F)...

After this great summer and autumn first snow arrived a couple of days ago... Can't say that I'm found of it... At least not until we can ski and skate outdoors...

At times I really like winter - especially when there is a heavy snowfall (only happens once in a blue moon in Ireland), but those dark mornings and dark evenings just depress me no end. The only cure - a roaring fire, a bottle of red wine & some exceptional music or a really good movie.

Haven't done that in many, many years. Only a matter of time before they make it legal anyway - after all it is only a plant at the end of the day.

its just been approved by our Government so it can be used for medicinal purposes, that comes into effect in January 2017.
Lobby groups have been pushing to legalise it here for years and each time it comes up in Parliament for discussion it gets closer with the votes, maybe a few more years
and we'll be able to grow and use for personal use.
the Netherlands had the foresight to legalise it fifty odd years ago....now that was an eye opener when I went there as a sixteen year old, coffee and a joint in downtown Amsterdam!
