I understand. I like to post my state and country at the very least since I'm comfortable with it. But I can see why some people wouldn't want to post any of that information, that's all I'm saying.

a lovely part of the world mate....
spent what, two days there with MH back in '11...
did the whole music tour thingy...Graceland, Grand Ole Opry, Ryman,Stax/Sun Records, Country HoF, RCA Studio-B etc etc....

no mate,
went from Ky down through Nashville, Memphis then straight on to New Orleans, across the pan handle to northern Florida, spent a week in and around Bouvard County,then up through the Apalacheans/Smokies to the Virginias then back to KY...
went up to Cleveland for the Rock + Roll HoF also...
got pulled over by a State Trooper just inside Florida, received a nice speeding ticket also...

Didn't do Memphis - not unless you count a brief transit stop at the bus station in the wee small hours of the morning.

im curious as to why a music fan, regardless of being a fan or not, would not go to Graceland when in the area out of curiousity????
also, if youre ever in the region pop up to MH's place, his wife cooks up a mean 'biscuits n gravy' in the morning...well worth a visit for that and the huge vinyl collection out back...
and if your lucky MH will crank up the BBQ in the evening!
but prior to that you partake in some homegrown....

As it was, I was just zipping across the US from new York City to San Francisco on a cheap bus ticket and I had a limited number of stopovers to choose from.
There's lots of areas in the US that I did not get to, but I did get a pretty good look at California and at the area between the Canadian border and NYC.

yeah, see, I wanted to go to NYC to see the 9/11 memorial, but time did not allow, so I hear ya bob.
by road is the only way to see any country IMO, whether it be car/motor cycle or bus...
I hired a car and we drove...as long as we got to our destination it didn't matter what we did or how we deviated to get there.....

Sigh, I didn't realize my location was such a big deal. I originally had my location up, but changed my mind. Far, far away doesn't mean anything since it's suppose to vague. No, I don't always like putting up where I live. Call me cautious.
