Tom Wolfe - The Bonfire of the Vanities. I read this many moons ago when I did not really have a clue about the subject material. Reading it again after all these years I find it compelling reading. Hindsight is a wonderful thing isn't it. Brilliant book. Note to self: READ MORE - it's better than looking at mindless sh*t on the net.

Analog Synthesizers - Mark Jenkins. A VERY good book all about analogue synths - circuit design, purchasing, playing and everything else associated with these marvelous machines. If anyone on the forum is getting into these instruments this book is a must. Mr. Jenkins put a huge effort into this very classy book. An absolute mine of information. My brain was fried after reading the first chapter.

Don't worry MH. I won't send you this for Xmas. However, you will be getting a nice book for Xmas this year - hint - the centre page folds out....

Jokes aside, who is your favorite author?

^I seem to remember reading three of those titles - an awfully long time ago.

I'm reading One Man's Climb at the moment. Adrian Hayes' account of his experiences on K2.
