Hola Amigo,

I'm Jaison Justus, from India. Nice to meet you all!

This is kind of a reintroduction. I joined this forum 2 years back but never been active until now because of less confidence in writing. But now I'm feeling bit comfort so... Big Grin

I listen to music from all over the world, and it doesn't matter what the genre or style is. I love collecting music and organising music. Most of the collections are in for of mp3 and small growing collection of CD, Cassettes and vinyl.  I love countries, people and culture. Even from my childhood, I used to collect things from other countries like candy wrappers, packagings, paper prints, stamps, boarding passes etc., mostly trash. At one point my cupboard had trash from all over the world. And the best part is I'm still the same. Over the time the collection gets narrowed to three things now - postage stamps, music mediums and coffee table books. But still, I keep chocolate wrappers, packagings and paper piece when I get.

Back to music, It's hard for me to pinpoint my favourites. Nowadays, I'm listening to more Afro, Indian Fusion, Sitar Fusion and Indonesian. And it can change over time. So, the best option is to list down the songs that come quickly.  Track Name - Artist (Genre/Style, Year, Country)

  1. Java Guitars - The Tielman Brothers (Rock, Surf, Rock & Roll, 1962, Indonesia/Netherlands)
  2. Haai - The Panber's (Rock, Pshychedelic Rock, 1972, Indonesia)
  3. Handsome Boy - The Rwenzori's (Afro, Funk, 1974)
  4. Soul Raga - Mehrpouya (Rock, Funk, Psychedelic, Sitar-Fusion 1976, Iran)
  5. Africanism - Kongas (Afro, Funk, Disco, 1977, France)
  6. Saman Doye - Black Brothers (Rock, Funk, Psychedelic, 70-80's, Indonesia)
  7. Kehidupan - God Bless (Hard Rock, 1988, Indonesia)
  8. Kutemukan - Krakatau (Jazz, Gamelan, Fusion, 1994, Indonesia)
  9. Gaawati - Celestial (Electronic, Folk, Dub, 2004, Hong Kong)
  10. Tumast - Imarhan (World, Desert Blues, Folk, 2018, Algeria)

Most of the songs in the list are date pre-2000, which is favourite era. If you like to listen to more songs from different countries check out my personal blog, where I started posting playlists with streaming. I think this is a good enough intro, and I think I should stop here. Otherwise, I will keep on talking Big Grin.
