    Can anyone suggest some R & B with a somber feel e.g. "Ain't No Sunshine" by Bill Withers?

    Default A few suggestions

    How about "Kiss and Say Goodbye, by the Manhattans"

    or William Devaughn's "Be Thankful for What You Got"

    "Sadie" by the Spinners

    and "Your Bodies Here With Me" or "You've Got Your Hooks in Me" by the O'jays are some others, IMO.
