"Rit" & "Rit 2" - Lee Ritenour

Just played these two albums back to back. I love Lee's music, these two albums stand out as more of his commercial/jazz attempt at the market back in the 80's.

Don't get me wrong I do like his song writing, but the first Album apart from "Mr Briefcase" and his cover of "You caught me smilin'" dose not really do anything for me musically. Whereas "Rit 2" stands out as the "better album". I actually enjoyed most of the tracks. Opinions???

also possibly one of the greatest studio musicians of all time is Lee!...if that's something noteworthy to be known for ?

Oh yea. He also played a lot with Fourplay, the band that is! Wink He's awesome
