Watched it, yeah that is a good version of the song.

Now I'm listening to Prince - When Doves Cry

    on Peter Criss Ocean...
not sure if youre familiar with him and his music or not???
give his first two solo albums a listen:

"kiss"(1978) and "out of control" (1980), the latter contains that track above.
his other solo albums are terrible IMO.

I'm not familiar with his solo work, actually. I will check out his first two albums then. :)

heard this one on the radio today, first time in years that ive heard it,
    really enjoyed hearing it again...
amazing how I just made the connection after all these decades that the song reminds me of
    UK rocker Shakin' Stevens

just found this one on YT, had never heard it previously,
was a b-side of one of the singles from Be Here Now...
its a reasonably good cover but still not a patch on Bowie's original:

Not sure whether this track or their cover of “Locomotive Breath” was the more popular – from the exceedingly successful although short-lived South African band Rabbitt’s Boys Will Be Boys … “Charlie” (with Trevor Rabin of Yes, most recently Anderson, Wakeman, Rabin, and composer of many film scores, and Duncan Faure who joined the Bay City Rollers) …

we all know Smokie's song "living next door to alice", but I didn't know until yesterday that their version was a cover,
an Australian group called New World recorded it back in 1972, heres the original:
