What I love most with Beethovens 5th is the shifting of moods between fateful and dark to much lighter. A great piece

This one is more cheerful all through and I really like it

Nightnoise – Billy Oskay and Mícheál Ó Domhnaill

Not ‘classical’ but doesn’t seem to fit anywhere else – more world/new age, I suppose. An interesting and successful combination of Celtic, folk, jazz and chamber music; the Celtic influences and sounds, while clear, are not dominant, which works just fine IMHO. To me, this album is deeply soulful and the musicianship beyond reproach. Very pleasant listening (instrumental). Lucky find - I had picked up the record a) because I liked the cover, and b) because it’s a Windham Hill release and I know that I tend to enjoy those artists I have heard that were signed to the label.

Reminds me of the great album covers from ECM Records!
