    Default Metal and rock music

Do you know any loud and energetic metal or rock songs? I'm a big fan of metal and rock bands. Rock music is a best popular all over the world. If you found it here about Metallica or Kendrick Lamar .The foundations of rock music are in rock and roll, which originated in the United States during the late 1940s and early 1950s, and quickly spread to much of the rest of the world. The sound of rock is traditionally centered on the Electric guitar, which emerged in its modern form in the 1950s with the popularization of rock and roll. The sound of an electric guitar in rock music is typically supported by an electric bass guitar. Since the term rock began to be used in preference to rock and roll from the late-1960s,Unlike many earlier styles of popular music, rock lyrics have dealt with a wide range of themes in addition to romantic love. Rock musicians combined an emphasis on skill and technique with the romantic concept of art as artistic expression, original and sincere. Rock and roll has been seen as leading to a number of distinct sub genres, including rockabilly, combining rock and roll with "hillbilly" country music. Rock has been credited with changing attitudes to race by opening up African American Culture to white audiences; but at the same time, rock has been accused of appropriating and exploiting that culture. The first rock 'n' roll record to achieve national popularity was "Rock Around the Clock" made by Bill Haley and the Comets in 1955. The greatest exponent of rock 'n' roll from 1956 to 1963 was Elvis Presley, a truck driver and aspiring singer from Tupelo, Miss. whose plaintive, wailing, dynamic delivery and uninhibited sexuality appealed directly to young audiences while horrifying older people. In the 1960s music mirrored the tensions of the Vietnam War era and played an important role in American culture.

I can tolerate it in small doses. But I was wondering why people favor Rock as their genre. To me-a lot of it sounds the same, and I just can't get into it. It has a very ugly sound to it. But I can appreciate some. I just don't see why its so popular and why its universally accepted, whereas other certain genres are not?

It all sounds the same to you BECAUSE you haven't gotten into it. Rock has a milion subgenres that barely sound alike and that's why there's a specific subforum for that style of music.
And what genres aren't "universally accepted"? I can't think of any kind of music that's being demeaned or anything like that at the moment.
