    Default Sid Tepper, songwriter--R.I.P.

You may not have heard the name but it's a lead-pipe cinch you've heard his music--with his late partner, Roy C. Bennett, dozens of tunes were composed in the '40's and '50's (most of the easy listening persuasion) plus 3 dozen songs for Elvis Presley, mostly for movies. His obit:
    Some tunes:
A man accustomed to hear only the echo of his own sentiments, soon bars all the common avenues of delight, and has no part in the general gratification of mankind--Dr. Johnson
    What he said. Amen, Bro--JazzboCR

    five great links there Jazzy....

Tepper also wrote a lot of tracks for the UK's most enduring pop singer Cliff Richard(who just happens to be still performing and releasing albums as he has done since 1958)

here's one of Cliff's better efforts that Tepper wrote.
