Muse blasted back to the live arena with an epic homecoming show last night (September 4).
The space-rock three-piece played the first of two shows on a specially-erected stage at The Den on the seafront of their hometown Teignmouth.
In front of 7,000 fans, they gave the live debut to three tracks from forthcoming new album 'The Resistance'. Opening with lead single 'Uprising', have played in recent memory, their last UK show being at last years V Festival. Production was kept to a minimum, and a clearly nerved Matt Bellamy kept banter a minimum.
Support came from rising Cornwall-based singer songwriter Cosmo Jarvis.

'Map Of The Problematique'
'United States Of Eurasia'
'Time Is Running Out'
'Plug In Baby'
'Knights Of Cydonia'
