Default Q: Why are love songs so important and so enduring?

A: Because in one form or another, they bring us nearly every form of human emotion. Here an author briefly explains this, with examples from the Sumerians and ancient Egyptians to today--it's an easy, accessible read *:

    * It's actually a review of a book that goes much deeper...but even that is popular writing, not some scholarly tome (no charts or graphs, no references to academic works).

Love songs are really important because they help us understand our deepest emotions and feelings, look into our soul and get everything straight. Found here lots of love songs. At the moment my favourite song is a Love Song by Tori Amos
