I mostly listen to rock, hardcore, hybrid, and rap (A Day to Remember, Chiodos, Mayday Parade, Memphis May Fire, Mindless Self Indulgence, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Hollywood Undead, Eminem, Deuce, etcetcetc), but I also sing in choirs and madrigals and take voice lessons so I enjoy classical music as well. Admittedly I sometimes go to some dubstep/electronic/pop stuff especially for parties and fun :P
I'm really into music with harmony and "good lyrics." Good lyrics to me can be really sad and beautiful (How am I supposed to be everything they expect me to be when I feel so alone? Cuz I left my heart at home...), words that just MAKE SENSE in a weird way (I know what runs through your blood, you do this is all in vain (like vein) and it gets under my skin...), or just really funny ridiculous things (this girl's like a mac the way she's riding my laptop; she thinks that I'm a hottie, and I know she likes it doggie...).
So yeah, also I'm really into discussing the "philosophies" behind music, or just different potential meanings that can be read into the same line.
I really, really love music, I STILL know lyrics to practically every song I have ever learned, including silly handclap songs from 3rd grade, old Green Day songs, Linkin Park's white boy raps, Eminem's depressing rhymes, LMFAO's drunk blabbering, italian arias, latin church concertos, etc.
Also, I am fluent in Greek and Spanish and know French pretty well, so I enjoy foreign music as well. (Greek rap will crack you up.)
Welcome me :)
