Sad, but I don't like the Vocal Band now and David's voice seems to be missing something.
I was planning on going to see them at MB Gaither Fest but I don't know now since my main reason is the Vocal Band.
I liked Russ, Guy, and Mark with the VB.
Bill seems to be gaining weight which is not good for his health. I think it is just a matter of time before he calls it quits.
What do you think about them now Holly??

Spoke too soon. Evidently the Gaithers are not coming to MB this year.
I know a few years back when I went there was sort of a small crowd there.

I must admit that I'm not Christian, but it doesn't mean that I can't listen to Christian music at all. I stumbled over this album the other day: Various Artists/Old Rugged Cross,16 Gospel Favourites/Label: Independent Records Ltd./Ireland/2013/Style: Gospel/Country.

my brother loves to play the guitar and sing gospel songs when drunk.
he is a great guitar player.
got some great songs there frands
when we had our jam sessions we would start out with rock, country, and end with gospel.

You are very welcome! Another American artist I'm listing to is Jim Reeves. He made some great gospel and country recordings in the late 50s and 60's f.ex the album 'God Be With You' in 1959 and the album 'We Thank Thee' in 1962. He also made some recordings inbetween and after. I had some of his LPs when I was a teenager and I really did like to hear that music and his more traditional music as well. I still have some of his albums as CDs and mp3 music. It's just great music for me ears! .

Lol, I have been listening to alot of music in all genres and languages during me lifetime. Just don't ask me to create a playlist, because then you would go and find a Winchester 73 and kill me, and if I survived I would be shot again. Well, have a great time there!

Jim Reeves was a legend in his own time who left us too soon just like Patsy. He had such a mellow voice.
I listen to him on youtube quite often. Love that song. I sing it alot when I feel I need help from the Lord.

Not gospel but this is my favorite Jim Reeves song. AS I recall it may be the first song from him I heard.
