As I have expanded my music Taste this year i have found the 90's to be the most enjoyable music scene for me personally. Used to love the 70's & 80's music to death but then got over it.

Nothing from the present appeals to me personally. Music has become a whole lot different today. Every limp di*k can make millions these days. There's not much talent and the quality of the music is shocking. It's all about who can make be in the tabloids the longest these days.
The 90's were sort of the dying age for the true legends from the 70's and 80's.

My vote goes for the 70s and 80s jointly. Every one of my favourite artists emerged in that time and/or had their golden years.
Personal favourites are: Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Dire Straits, Sting, Rod Stewart, Elton John, Queen, *Eric Clapton* etc. etc. etc.

You're pretty focused on the charts, aren't you?

I think every decade has good music if you can look past the mainstream stuff... Popular music hasn't been good in a long, long time... But that seems to be all that people hear. =X
