The problem with spam/junk posts in forums today is...

Initial Introductory Period explained
As a new member, some of the standard forum features will not be available until you have posted 10 posts and been registered for longer than 7 days. These features which are restricted include, no custom avatar, no signature, and no BBcode (used to customise posts). These restrictions, help site staff, moderate the early posts from our newest members. These features will automatically be restored once the qualifying criteria have been achieved.
