'You'll never get to Heaven if you break my heart' - Dionne Warwick

Lovely song but the lyrics are a bit jarring - you'll go to hell if you don't love me?? Maybe I over-think

I think you should get more in touch with your feminine side, Tiggi, put 'Mandy' on the stereo and let the tears fall!

I'm listening to Malina Moye 'Diamonds and Guitars' -- A great new sound and artist.
She's my new favorite thing in the world: LINK REMOVED BY ADMIN

I met the drummer of Third Eye Blind at a party last year and we chopped it up all night. Cool dude.

    Whitney Houston - I Look To You - 2009 - *

The diva returns with her first album in 7 years. Yes, she still has a marvelous voice. Now if she only had some decent material. I guess if you're into the dance stuff, your opinion will be much more favorable than mine. I can only handle the slow stuff. The title track is the classic Whitney. I'll listen to anything once. This goes into the I listen so you don't have to category.

    Abba - Best Of - 1991 - **

I know, I know. Not supposed to like this stuff. I can't help it. One of those guilty pleasures I guess. Swedish group formed in 1970. International stars with catchy hooks make it pop music at it's best. Excellent harmonies by the girls. Would like to see Mamma Mia someday although I don't care for the song. Anybody see Muriel's Wedding, which featured Abba music? Cool wacky movie.

    Favorite Track - Fernando

Can you hear the drums fernando?
I remember long ago another starry night like this
    In the firelight fernando
You were humming to yourself and softly strumming your guitar
I could hear the distant drums
And sounds of bugle calls were coming from afar

    They were closer now fernando
Every hour every minute seemed to last eternally
    I was so afraid fernando
We were young and full of life and none of us prepared to die
And Im not ashamed to say
The roar of guns and cannons almost made me cry

There was something in the air that night
    The stars were bright, fernando
They were shining there for you and me
    For liberty, fernando
Though I never thought that we could lose
    Theres no regret
If I had to do the same again
    I would, my friend, fernando

Now were old and grey fernando
And since many years I havent seen a rifle in your hand
Can you hear the drums fernando?
Do you still recall the frightful night we crossed the rio grande?
I can see it in your eyes
How proud you were to fight for freedom in this land

There was something in the air that night
    The stars were bright, fernando
They were shining there for you and me
    For liberty, fernando
Though I never thought that we could lose
    Theres no regret
If I had to do the same again
    I would, my friend, fernando

There was something in the air that night
    The stars were bright, fernando
They were shining there for you and me
    For liberty, fernando
Though I never thought that we could lose
    Theres no regret
If I had to do the same again
    I would, my friend, fernando
Yes, if I had to do the same again
    I would, my friend, fernando...

I despised Abba back in the day, but have come to realise that they wrote and performed some of the very best Pop music.

    I'd liken them to a b-list Lennon & McCartney...
