  1. First time I have been on for a while . Been having some problems with the sound system on my computer . The experts could not fix it but by luck and a mate of mine half hitting the nail on the head I actually managed to fix it . Anybody out there use the Creative system like I do ?

  5. Glad to here is was successful . I am strating to get to know this site now . Are you a member of The Beatles Socila Group ? I am . Not many members yet as it has not long been going but hopfully it will grow . I put the same question on that with the moderator saying he had never heard of such a thing . Have quite a few subjects to rasie up about the beatles . Going back to the subject of similer sounding , the first couple of times I heard it I did somehow get the impression that it was the Beatles , or an ex beatle who was singing that song "I Belive In Father Christmass" by Emerson , Lake and Plamer That does sound fairly similer in sound and style . Keep in touch . David

I agree with what you wrote. While I was listening to 'Sugar Sugar', certainly there are similarities to some of the Beatles songs. Personally I think Paul would have the right voice if they could have sang it.

    Friendship request was successful.

I think given the chance, if the Beatles had sang Sugar Sugar, it would sound far better than from The Archies.
  8. Here is another point . The song Sugar Sugar by The Archies . Somebody once told me years ago that The Beatles once also recorded that song . Do I take it that it is not true ?

21/12/09 Finally put the lid on this subject for once and for all . It is not true . A subject that aroused a fair bit of interest in the Beatles Social Group

As regaurd to what you say about my album track thread , though I would keep an open mind on it you still could well have a point .
