^ Not a live album in terms of audience, but JLH's Bluesway Sessions is a great live-in-the-studio album, where the musicians only met for the recording session. Knocked out in one night if memory serves.
I have a vinyl copy of this double album, but can't find any reference to its' current availability...

I already have a pristine copy, Crazy man. It's just here as a recommendation, but it doesn't seem to have a current release.
Haven't bought any vinyl for years, although my vinyl records still see very regular service.

Well, there's two of us left anyway.
Let me be by myself in the evenin' breeze
And listen to the murmur of the cottonwood trees
Send me off forever but I ask you please

Oh bollocks, I just went a forgot one of my favourites from what is probably the best 'supergroup' I've ever heard period:
BBM (Bruce,Baker,Moore)-Live At Glasgow Barrowlands 1994:

Got this one of an american site called 'ioffer.com'. I think I must own one of the only copies available and plus it includes an excellent interview with Jack Bruce & Gary Moore right at the end. Enjoy guys, it truly is a cracker.
Not from the same live performance but still a worthy inclusion:

I was lucky enough to see a bunch of the greats, and it's hard to find a lot of live albums because they didn't make many. And yet, across the board the blues bands would complain about having to record in a studio, where there was no audience, no feel, no nuthin that they were used to, and the albums sometimes came out flat.
The difference between Muddy at Montreaux, or in some backwoods club, was huge. There's only a few minutes footage somewhere on youtube praps, that is just crazily intense Muddy live, right off the wall, and that's how it was every show, as long as it was in a good room.
If a lot of those shows had been recorded, rock musicians may have never got off the ground, because the shows were almost always better than the studio recording, which is the opposite of most rock music, with many exceptions.
Live Hooker at Cafeau Go~Go, but other tracks scattered. He could be great anywhere.
