Been listening to Dave Brubeck's "London Flat, London Sharp" recently... I was somewhat apprehensive that this recent release from Dave wouldn't live up to his classic albums of decades gone by, but I was wrong! Awesome music, masterfully played.

Ray Charles - Pure Genius - The Complete Atlantic Recordings (1952 - 1959)

This is a cracking 8-CD box-set of some essential Ray Charles recordings, both Jazz, & Rhythm & Blues.

A recent birthday present from the Tiglet.

    Recommended.

Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan - Mustt Mustt

This is an album of Pakistani qawaali (?!) singing set to chilled grooves. Recorded at Peter Gabriel's studio near bath. Won't be to everyones' taste, but I love it.
