I still listen to Wes Montgomery a good bit.

Latest in this NYC collectives' series of classic albums ina Reggae stylee.

This time the target is Sgt Pepper, and as they usually manage, this is a brilliant adaptation of a very familiar work...

    Ali Farka Toure - Savane

    West African Blues.

What you get is something that isn't Blues as I understand it, but is traditional W African music which contains elements that became the blueprint for US Blues.

    Excellent album.

^Recently got that album as well. Good stuff, but I'm not really into other artists in that genre.

Bonnie Raitt - Longing in Their Hearts

    Country-Blues-Rock from flame-headed Bonnie.

Fairly standard stuff, but her voice is lovely on this album.
