About to listen to (and record to the Hard Drive for later editing & burning to CD) BEACHHEAD'S BLUES: 'Live' at the RITZ in St. Kilda - July 5, 1994.

Recorded during the band's last ever tour of Victoria.

This is closest fit for these albums, but the fit's not great:

Bassekou Kouyate & Ngoni ba - Segu Blue

This is West African folk music which is described as being very close to the origin of the blues. lovely stuff.

    &

    Bob Dylan - Nashville Skyline

    Bobbys' country album.

    Thumbs up

Met a beautiful woman and great singer in Goulburn while playing the Australian Blues Music Festival in early February and we became very good friends. Consequently, her producer sent me a copy of her album which I am in the process of attempting to review at present and there's not a bad track on it.Samples of some of the album may be heard on her MySpace page and are truly worth the listen.
