    Default Hello from the Maritimes!

Hey there, I'm Brett Jardine and was really looking for a new place to talk to people about music. I got sick and tired of posting stuff on facebook to a bunch of dorks that don't care about some album they've never heard.

So here I am, and it seems like a pretty decent site.

I'm a guitar player idolizing Satriani and Vai. My Top bands are Dream Theater, Megadeth, Tool, but I love all the stuff from AC/DC to ZZ Top but I'm always looking for something new and interesting.

    Welcome to the site Brett

I'm not much into your groups, but a couple of excellent guitarists there.

Welcome Brett. Love AC/DC, what's your favourite song?

My classic song is "walk all over you" and every once in a while i'll find another jem in my collection so i've been jamming to "two's up"

As AC/DC is a cornerstone in rock i've gotten into other bands from the "classic rock" epoch such as the who, zeppelin, beatles, sabbath, etc. I know the main players of the game but is there anything along these lines that i may have missed?

It's a mixed up sensation this being alive
Oh! it wears a man down into the ground
    It's the strangest elation
    I can't describe it
Oh it leaves a man weary
    It makes a man frown.

Hi Brett, & welcome to MD.

I've just had do a search to find out where the Maritimes are, to my eternal shame...

The Clash should be a mandatory checking out if you're not already familiar, although you won't find any master guitarists.

    Hope you enjoy the site.
