Thread: Intro

Hello Everyone,

My name is Murray and I'm 17 from Scotland. basically I've been looking for a smaller forum to discuss any kind of music, and I came across the site.

I only recently started getting into music over the past year, and am constantly looking to listen to new stuff. My favourite genre of music is rock and my favourite band are Queens of The Stone Age, even though I listen to other stuff which can range from pop, punk, alternative rock anything really!

Also, at Christmas I got an Electric Guitar which I am currently learning.

Look forward to sticking around.

So whats the weekly album review all about then?

Hi Murry

Each week we choose an album to review..........If you go to the community section you can find the thread................all members are free to download the album from the link (or go to the site where it is available) we give it an audition and then place a review on the end of the appropriate thread.............it is a relatively new idea, so we are still working on improvements.............if you want to suggest an album to review then there is a thread to use on the forum................have a look and see what you think .............feel free to take part if you wish

Ah right thanks Gryphon seems like like a great idea! as well as a good way of comparing people's interests in music. Also, it might let someone try to music which they might have not considered before.

I'll be sure to check out the thread soon.
