Thread: American Idol - Season 9

Use this thread for any discussion as the season progresses.

Season 9 started last night with the audition shows. Not sure how many there are. First was from Boston and 32 participants will be moving on to Hollywood. I will post after I watch each show even though it will probably be a day late. I do not watch these live (I don't do commercials). I watched the 2 hour show in about 1 hour. All I watch is the audition and what the judges have to say. I also do not watch the sob story bio's that go along with some of the contestants. You probably know Ellen Degeneres has replaced Paula Abdul as the 4th judge. She does not take that spot until they reach the Hollywood portion of the show. For the auditions a different guest judge sits in each week. Last night it was Victoria Beckham, everyones favorite Spice Girl. Looks like she weighs about 80 lbs. Very sickly to me.

Not sure how they do this. I would have thought there would be the same number from each city. Apparently not.
