If you go that route I recommend starting with one of their first two albums, Fahrenheit Fair Enough or Map Of What Is Effortless.

I know of them but I have never listened to them. I tend to stay away from anything that borders on psy-trance. It's too cheesy for me.

I have the A Flock of Bleeps album, and like it a lot

    Cheese... mmmmm....

Seriously though, this does raise the issue of forum recommendations, and how it's often quite difficult to recommend something to someone when you don't have a feel for their taste threshholds.

One person's meat is another person's poison etc.

That's the beauty of the interweb, though. In this case it's putting like-minded people in touch with each other from all corners of the globe to exchange views, and it enables us to quickly & easily research & audition musical recommendations. It all used to be so much harder...

A great way to find new artists is to pick up a mix album by an artist you like, and then delve into the catalogues of the artist they chose for their album...

For instance, Thievery Corporation has a mix album under the DJ Kicks series...

Kruder & Dorfmeister's DJ Kicks is pretty good too

Might also check out the Art of Chill series, or the Back to Mine series (this one can get a bit eclectic, but still opens alot of doors)
