    Default Richard Wagner

I am currently listening to Gotterdammerung: Siegfrieds Funeral March. Lovely piece of music.

Any other Wagner favourites from members?
    With Regards...

I love the orchestral parts of the Ring..not so crazy about it as opera...Wagner was an incrediblke creative genius, and an incredibly wretched human being...

    "Parsifal" and "Tristan und Isolde"
I have 1 ring and 2 other opera.
But his operas are quite long, so collecting his works needs much money.

    Recently i found a new site pineclassics.com
It seems to sell old albums in low price.

Everybody whom I asked told me they were really struck by Tristan und Isolde. And even though Wagner is not among my favorite composers, so was I. So I will stop by this one.

Not familiar with Trilogy ? I enjoy The Rings and The Flying Dutchman by Wagner.
My coat's old, but it's got a good lining
Round the cuffs it's started to fray
Found a hole in the back of my pocket
Must 'a' lost my money that way.

Oh, God help me it's started to rain
Oh, God help me I'm feeling the strain.
