Who have you seen perform at a live concert or who would you consider to be todays master violinist?

Of the major-league violinists, I've only encountered Nigel Kennedy live, and I wasn't impressed. His performance was a failure of style over content.I've always liked Anne-Sophie Mutter, though...

Anne-Sophie Mutter... I've not listened to anything recent of hers. Can you recommend anyting to try?

I seem to recall a couple of years back that a friend of mine from Stateside remarked about your uncle John Georgiadis being one of the best:

No kidding! Small world. I gotta find some titles with JG in them to recommend to you. I don't know if he is still alive but I remember he was a top-notch violinist.

That quote came from a dear friend of Shirley's and mine who lives in Galway NY named Don Drewecki, a sound/video recordist and absolute Classical Music fan!

My uncle John is extremely good. Was leader of the London Symphony Orchestra for years.

Yep! Our Anthony's Uncle John is one of the World's greats and that's no shit.
