    He is playing a lot of jazz at the moment and some classical. For what its worth I also find his sound hard on the ears.

    His early performance of Brahms Violin Concerto's display what talent he has had. I think his direction has gone the wrong way, and perhaps as a result he has lost his position on the world stage.
