Beach - Rod "Beachhead" Jeffery in Hospital

Hi everyone
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post but Rod (username Beach) is currently in hospital. Some of his friends here may know that he has been battling cancer for some time. He is hoping it is just a lung infection at present and not something more sinister.
Rod is one of Australia's great jazz/blues/R'n'B singers, certainly my favourite. He's also a great mate. I'll try and keep up with any postings so I can pass them onto him when I speak to him next.
In the meantime check out his talent, this is a great one!

Thanks Rooster.

I've been wondering how we'd get news if there were any further developments.

I'm sorry to hear Rod's in hospital, and I'm sure there are many here who'll want to get messages to him.

I have a couple:

- Let him know that I'm thinking of him, and that I hope he's feeling a little better soon.

- Also, please tell him that I've asked after the progress with his facial growth, following the loss of his beloved beard.

I wish him all the best, and hope he's keeping his chin up.

Hi - I'm really sorry he's not doing so well at present - if you get the chance tell him Catrina says 'Hi' and hopes he feels better soon - we miss him on the boards!
