Talking What do you do whilst listening to music?

I fancied a fun topic , whilst I'm cooking I like to listen to my music....I also like to listen to music whilst having a shave or even a bath..................There are times when I just lay back put on some cans and snooze.................

    So what do you do?

Nice to be able to go back to trust and friendship!!!!!!!!!

It's a mixed up sensation this being alive
Oh! it wears a man down into the ground
    It's the strangest elation
    I can't describe it
Oh it leaves a man weary
    It makes a man frown.

When under the head/ear phones, usually nothing.
If I'm not under them, especially if it's nice outside, I am sometimes reading, but it is hard for me to multi-task.
Let me be by myself in the evenin' breeze
And listen to the murmur of the cottonwood trees
Send me off forever but I ask you please
    Don't fence me in

I always listen to music while in front of my computer, like right now. Otherwise I read. I love to go to a local coffee shop and listen to podcasts on my iPod while I drink coffee. I do that once or twice a week.

Been away a while. Attended a funeral and a wedding.
I always listen to music on the pc while I surf the net or the radio is blasting away, while I'm cooking, bathing etc. For me, music is an essential part of me.

For me, it's almost always lights down, loud, and no distractions, apart from during the summer when I have a penchant for i-Pod assisted sprawling in the garden.

The radio is always on at work, but I don't count that as listening.

This is a question for several people who have posted here: You are big fans of music or you wouldn't be participating on this forum site. Why don't you listen to music whenever you can? Why only when traveling? Or only when under the headphones/in a dark room?

Me, if I have access to a playback device I listen to music.

Same here.. I too make maximum use of all my music devices..
But I don't get time.. Coz when I am at home I watch movies..

If I am reading then my music is on... Also on weekends I put my music & go to sleep...

But as of now on daily routine basis, travelling is the only option I have.
Since I work for media monitoring, I have to use all my senses focussed on work.. so don't get to listen to music while working.

Maybe I have a low capacity for multi-tasking, but if I can't focus on the music fully, I don't get much out of it.

To me, background music would be like watching a movie whilst reading...
