I wouldn't put Snoop in the same league with Jay-Z, Nas and Eminem. Those three are certainly the best working rappers today. At least those with wide-spread exposure. For me, its really a toss-up between Jay-Z and Nas. I went with Jay-Z, mostly for 99 Problems. Nas hasn't done anything recently that's caught my attention quite like that record.
I absolutely agree, all three of them are degrees better than Snoop in every category.** I would have loved to see Lupe Fiasco and Andre 3000's names on the poll, but for the most part I would have to put it between Eminem and Jay-Z, simply because of how consistant they both are with their quality. I personally think that Eminem is capable of more as far as flow and lyrics, but Jay-Z is more versatile as far as content, and is also unparallelled in the lyrical category.
**To be fair, I saw Snoop perform live with 311 and The Wailers, and he put on a fantastic show. I would definately recommend going out and seeing him if you have the opportunity.
