Default Beatles Albums In Countries Other Than The UK

The reasons why there is a strange policy of Beatle albums releases in countries other than the UK boils down to some of the following reasons :

Brian Epstein was clearly out of his depth as a manager:

Brian was a simple businessman , there are many examples of his naive approach to the deals he made eg take seltab "which delt with the Beatles merchandising through out the world)................Brian thought that getting a 10:90 share ...(that was 10% for the Beatles and 90% for the dealer) was a good deal................Can you believe that he could believe that this was a good deal? ( He lost the Beatles millions !!!!!!!!!!!!)However, there were few people to turn to for advice. One of the few people who might know was Tom Parker ( Elvis` manager )and Brian was too shy etc to go to him or others to learn or ask advice ..........so he made it up as he went along ................making mistakes as he went along..............In many analyses of his life, the mistakes Brian made may have been involved in the build up to his suicide ( He felt the Beatles would sack him if they found out about his incompetence ........and he could not bare that!)

The second limit may have been EMI :they were a British based industry trapped in the old colonial ways of doing business.......eg things were decided by the bosses of the territories and their was little " artistic control..............as a result some bizzar things happened in terms of releases and no one in the Beatles management team knew how to combat this..............this made for some really interesting releases ...........................I
It took Apple many years to sort this problem out..........indeed Neil Aspinal ( Head of Apple ) only really got on top of this just before the Anthology releases.

Hope this helps clarify the odd situation surrounding the Beatles odd overseas releases !
Nice to be able to go back to trust and friendship!!!!!!!!!

It's a mixed up sensation this being alive
Oh! it wears a man down into the ground
    It's the strangest elation
    I can't describe it
Oh it leaves a man weary
    It makes a man frown.
.............................Chris Simpson ( "Mixed Up Sensations" 1975 Martin's Cafe )

Let me be by myself in the evenin' breeze
And listen to the murmur of the cottonwood trees
Send me off forever but I ask you please
    Don't fence me in

Please Please Me was my choice. Again, it's not fair having to make such decisions. It's like deciding between a condo in Miami and a bungalow in Bermuda, or between Angeline Jolie and Gianna Michaels

My favorite is the B side(vinyl) of Abbey Road (tracks 7-16)( Here Comes the Sun to Her Majesty) known as the "joined " side ! I think this piece of music brilliantly embodies the total history of their music in a nutshell !

Please Please Me for me. I think it is their very best work. Anna (Go To Him) is my favorite Beatles song.

I can not wait to see this interesting work. I would say this work would belong to Meet the Beatles. I like that work.
