Dear All Members,

This is Ant, Techman, Ambernector from old.

I would like to apologise to all members who visited over the last 10 days over at MusicFuss (luckily for me, not too many), where some drastic changes were implemented and not appreciated entirely. Hopefully it is never too late to influence and change one's mind and many of you have succeeded well. So what has happened?

  1. The name musicfuss wasn't great. But it was used as a replacement to music-discussion as that was considered toxic and unlikely to provide new members. This was due to the previous site being comprised. Interestingly while that name has been offline the toxicity around it has gone. Google has relisted the name..... As this was the preferred name, it is now active again. YIPPEE
  2. At musicfuss the genre boards were merged into one which was considered an unpopular move. The rationale behind it was to create a visually simplified site to help encourage participation to newer members. In principle sounds great, but reality not ideal. Got it!
We need the support of the regular members in order to entice new members as well. So another approach is needed. To bring back the genre boards, I have had to restore an earlier copy of the site meaning some conversations over the last few days are gone (mainly mine). This also provided an opportunity to return back to MD and close down MusicFuss.

The short term aim is to now hold fire on any changes to allow regulars to embed the new site. I am sure some will be confused by all of this. This suggestions forum is open to allow you to have your say and provide ideas.

We have some challenges ahead. The site has been only available for spam bots to join for a number of months that our active user base is down (issue now resolved). We can e-mail past members to entice them back, and we can promote in other places to get newcomers here. However the hardcore base needs to be looked after, as it is you that can help old and new members become regular again by the participation you provide. This is turn makes this a busier and interesting place to be. Some changes will be needed, but from now on only with the support of you the hardcore regulars.

Thanks for reading,

Dear Ant!
This is much better! Easy to navigate and no problems with logging into the forum and no warnings from any security software here! Some links in the old treads are stilll not shown properly but with a bit copy and pasting it's ok. I'm wishing all the best for this forum because it is so good and heavenly! Love it! Thank you - this is a hundred times better already!

Now ... is there a way to change the description 'Posting Freak'? Please?

Demanding, aren't we?

Rolleyes
Ant,
I tried to post a picture of an album cover in "artist association game" thread and it didn't post, just the link for it, is there a reason for this?

Sorry, but I'm The Rebel Wink  and I don't care for the big messages about deleting post.
IMO, does not look good. No one cares when we delete a post.
Seems IE is causing the sign deleted post problem.
It does not show up on Google.

IE has problems and so does Google.

Sorry!!

Not many showing up at night anymore.
Only time I get a chance to get on here. Hubby goes to bed early. Thank the Lord!!
Anyone else having problems getting to the last post on topics?? Right now I have tried every way and it leaves off the last post.
Aggrivating!!
Google is still saying insecure login but IE won't take me to the last post either.
Just started having this problem again.

Any suggestions Frands??

Btw, last post shows when I'm not logged in but when I am logged in in the movie section, it leaves off the last post.
When I logged in Music Head's post does not appear in the movie section when we were talking about cartoons.
I was going to reply to him but can't if his post is not there. I don't know why this has happened only in this topic.
Help please. Tell me why. Does anyone know??
